Level Design for Scraps

Blueprinting

 

Even before I started the process of blueprinting this level we started with a Game Design Document. I then came up with the concept of this rooftop level. I took inspiration from not only games but movies images I found. 

Block-out 

After completing the top-down map I moved on to blocking-out the level. I started by making one prefab for the buildings, then I duplicated it and changed up the sizes for building variations. After I of that I sculpted out the environment

Final Product

After completing the block I had to take my level and combine it with 4 other levels made by various people. The first challenge was find a way to make all the levels feel organic together. After that we added all the art assets over what we blocked out.
